What Legislative Changes Are Needed for the Return of Foreign Businesses to Russia

Following a phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on 12 February, and the launch of a negotiation process between the two sides, reports have emerged suggesting that some Western companies which left after the start of the special military operation in Ukraine might soon return to the Russian market.

However, the return of foreign businesses to Russia presents a significantly more complicated political, legal, and organisational challenge than their original departure.
