RDIF Head Estimates US Business Losses from Exit from Russia at $300 Billion

American businesses have lost $300 billion due to their decision to leave the Russian market, according to Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), speaking ahead of US-Russia negotiations held in Riyadh on 18 February.

“I believe we want a constructive dialogue. American companies lost $300 billion because of their exit from Russia. I think it’s important to recognise that the lack of cooperation led to this massive $300 billion figure in losses for American business”, Dmitriev said in an interview with CNN.
