Ivan has over 10 years of experience providing legal advice to multinational corporations and leading Russian companies on a broad range of legal matters.
His practice focuses on advising international companies on their exit from the Russian market, structuring joint ventures, establishing corporate governance frameworks for project companies, and drafting and negotiating corporate, investment and option agreements, as well as loan and security documentation. Ivan has extensive experience advising on the full legal lifecycle of major M&A transactions and restructurings involving cross-border elements.
As part of temporary management projects, Ivan provides legal support to portfolio companies and oversees compliance with corporate, employment, counter-sanctions and currency control regulations, as well as applicable anti-corruption and anti-money laundering requirements. He has successfully managed subsidiaries of leading international companies and advises on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Ivan has also advised on large-scale investment projects in Russia and abroad, led corporate restructuring projects for major Russian and international holding companies, and has extensive experience in real estate transactions and project finance.
